On October 26, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) said that the An Suong Traffic Police Team had established a working group to inspect vehicles traveling on the national highway (in front of the gate of Quang Trung Software Park in Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12).
During the inspection, the Working Group discovered two violations when checking the dash cam system and the vehicle image recording camera.
According to PC08, at 4:00 p.m. on October 25, the Working Group inspected a tractor-trailer carrying a container. When checking and extracting data from the surveillance camera on the vehicle, the Traffic Police force recorded that while traveling on Hanoi Highway through Binh An Ward, Di An Town, Binh Duong Province at 2:14 p.m., driver V.T.T, born in 1994, used his hand to use a mobile phone. This behavior violated Point a, Clause 4, Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP as amended and supplemented by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP. The Working Group extracted the camera data as evidence and drew up a record of administrative violations for the above violation.
Then, at 4:30 p.m. the same day, the Task Force inspected another container truck. When reviewing the camera's stored data, it was noted that the camera did not record the driver's image during the trip. The driver also failed to present his driver's license when requested for inspection. Therefore, the An Suong Traffic Police Team proceeded to draw up an administrative violation record against the business owner and the driver for the above related acts.
In the coming time, the An Suong Traffic Police Team said that it will regularly patrol and control to promptly check and detect violations related to transportation business activities in the area to ensure traffic order and safety, reducing traffic accidents in 2024.
