Factory Z111 (Precision Mechanical One Member Limited Liability Company 11) is an enterprise under the General Department of National Defense Industry, Ministry of National Defense. In recent years, the factory has successfully completed its national defense production tasks, promoted economic production activities and exported national defense products. In the 2020-2025 term, the Factory has produced and repaired hundreds of thousands of turns of national defense products with tens of millions of parts of weapons, meeting well the requirements and tasks of training and combat readiness; effectively implemented military trade, capacity promotion, expanded cooperation, diversified partners and economic products...
In addition, the unit effectively implemented investment projects; scientific and technological work, research, design, and manufacture of weapons and technical equipment achieved many good results. Party and political work activities were comprehensively deployed, contributing to the successful completion of the Factory's political tasks.
Over nearly 70 years of construction, combat and development, generations of cadres, officers, professional soldiers, national defense workers and employees of Factory Z111 have always strived, united, overcome difficulties, been proactive, creative, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well, made many outstanding achievements, and were twice awarded the title of Unit Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State (in 1970, 2025), Hero of Labor in the renovation period (in 2004), Military Exploit Order, First Class (1984); Labor Order, First Class (November 2016), Fatherland Protection Order, First Class (July 2021), 21 Military Exploit Orders, First, Second, and Third Class, along with many other noble awards. Many officials and employees of the factory have truly become typical examples in labor and work. Among them, 05 comrades have achieved particularly outstanding achievements, and have been awarded the titles of Hero of the People's Armed Forces and Hero of Labor by the Party and State; 05 comrades have developed and become generals, holding leadership and commanding positions of the General Department of National Defense Industry and agencies of the Army, making important contributions to building and developing the Military Industry sector (now the General Department of National Defense Industry), building and modernizing the Army, successfully implementing the resistance war against the US for national salvation as well as building and protecting the Fatherland.
