Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and Ms. Pham Thu Huong transfer leadership roles at VinFast and GSM

VinFast and GSM officially appointed new personnel to replace Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and Ms. Pham Thu Huong in the roles of global senior leaders.

Accordingly, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh - currently Chairman of VinFast Global - will concurrently hold the position of General Director of VinFast Global replacing Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, and is also appointed to the position of Chairman cum General Director of VinFast Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan takes on the role of Chairman of GSM Global replacing Ms. Pham Thu Huong, Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang becomes General Director of GSM Global cum General Director of GSM Vietnam.

The consolidation of the senior leadership personnel apparatus of VinFast and GSM takes place in the context that Vingroup and companies in the ecosystem are promoting training, developing local talents and transferring roles to the young generation of leaders, in order to meet the needs and development speed of the system. In particular, VinFast and GSM companies are both entering a period of strong and drastic growth globally.

Before taking on the role of Global General Director of VinFast from Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh was appointed as Global President of VinFast from May 2026. With officially taking on the positions of President cum Global General Director of VinFast and President cum General Director of VinFast Vietnam, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh will be ultimately and comprehensively responsible for all activities of VinFast in the new growth phase.

Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh was born in 1993, graduated from the University of Management in Singapore, and held many important leadership positions at VinFast and member companies of Vingroup before being appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinFast Auto Ltd. from May 2026. With multidisciplinary management experience and strategic operational thinking, he has actively contributed to VinFast's development process from the foundation building stage in the domestic market to the journey of expanding presence in the international market.

In addition to the highest leadership role at VinFast, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh continues to hold the position of General Director of VinMetal Production and Trading Joint Stock Company - a high-quality steel production company belonging to the Vingroup ecosystem.

At GSM, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, General Director of GSM Global, was appointed as Chairman of GSM Global replacing Ms. Pham Thu Huong. Taking over the role of General Director of GSM Global cum General Director of GSM Vietnam of Mr. Tuan is Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang.

Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang was born in 2000, and has held senior leadership positions at VinFast, Green Future, VinSmart Future, GSM... companies. In addition to participating in management, he also directly contributes capital and is a major shareholder in many industrial - technology, energy, infrastructure enterprises in the Vingroup ecosystem such as VinSpeed, VinEnergo, VinMetal, VinVentures, robot companies...

Currently, VinFast is present in 16 countries around the world, including key markets such as Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Europe, the Middle East and North America. VinFast electric cars and motorbikes are currently being produced at 4 factories in 3 countries including Vietnam, Indonesia and India.

Accompanying VinFast is GSM with the green mobile brand Green SM. Currently, the company is operating in 7 countries including Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Kazakhstan and Denmark, and is expected to expand to at least 3 more markets this year. In addition, GSM is aiming to become a global-scale public company with shares listed on the international stock market.

The appointment of senior leaders is of particular importance, not only to meet more challenging requirements in the new development phase, but also to reflect positive expectations for the future of VinFast and GSM in the process of conquering international markets.
