Responding to the call of the Party, the State and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the consent of the Prime Minister, with the tradition of mutual love, oil and gas sentiment and social responsibility, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) undertakes to rebuild the entire residential area of Kho Vang village to stabilize and ensure the safety of people's lives.

After agreeing on the policy on September 21, Petrovietnam coordinated with Lao Cai province and Bac Ha district to start the reconstruction of the entire residential area of Kho Vang village. The resettlement area of Kho Vang village is expected to be 2.5 hectares wide and provide accommodation for about 40 households.

Striving and determined to achieve the goal by December 31, 2024, the people of Kho Vang village will return to their new home to prepare for the spring festival, erasing the pain and loss of the recent storm and flood.

The new residential area will ensure all daily living needs of the people according to new rural standards. The new location chosen is about 1.5 km from the old place of residence and is supported and agreed by the people.

The entire cost of rebuilding the residential area of Kho Vang village comes from the social security fund, with oil and gas workers voluntarily contributing and working on volunteer Saturdays.

The reconstruction of the residential area of Kho Vang village demonstrates the heart, culture of affection and sharing of the people of Dau Khi. Thereby, it also contributes to the implementation of the policy of the Party and Government in caring for and supporting ethnic minorities, especially in situations of overcoming the consequences after natural disasters.
