Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP) have just carried out the above activities in Ha Giap commune, Phu Tho province.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Bao - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members (BOM) of PVEP - said that in recent times, PVEP has always maintained its role as a pillar corporation of Petrovietnam with important contributions to the overall development of the oil and gas industry as well as contributing to ensuring energy security, national defense and security and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
Besides production and business activities, PVEP always focuses on social security activities, gratitude work, community building and development.
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group and PVEP consider the restoration of the martyrs' cemetery to be of utmost importance, both to show the gratitude of future generations for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs in the cause of national liberation, and to demonstrate the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", and the affection of oil and gas workers.
On this occasion, PVEP also awarded 2.9 billion VND to support the repair of facilities at Ha Giap Primary and Secondary School.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Hoang Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giap commune - expressed his sincere thanks for the special and meaningful affection and attention of Petrovietnam and PVEP.
This is a great source of encouragement for the commune leaders and teachers and students of the two primary and secondary schools in the commune.
Mr. Hoang Quang Huy expressed his hope that in the coming time, Ha Giap commune will continue to receive the attention and support of Petrovietnam and PVEP so that the commune will have more conditions, determination, and strive to become an advanced new rural commune.
