From bunk beds to school joy
On September 11, ROX Share's ROX Key journey to Nghia Ta Primary & Secondary School (Thai Nguyen). The gifts given originated from practical needs, close to the boarding life of students in difficult circumstances here.
The delegation supported the cost of installing 32 bunk beds for the semi-boarding area along with scholarships and warm blankets donated by ROX Key staff. The delegation also presented support of 10 million VND to a student of the school who unfortunately had an accident, and at the same time supported semi-boarding care for 5 students along with some school supplies and essential necessities for students.
According to sharing on the school team's fanpage, new beds are neatly arranged in the semi-boarding area, improving resting conditions for students before the new school year. For parents and students, that change brings a very warm and simple joy.
Ms. Trieu Ty (a parent whose child is studying at school) is the one who clearly feels that. Previously, her child did not want to stay in semi-boarding. But when the new bunk beds were brought to school, she excitedly told her mother and actively changed her mind.
Seeing the bunk bed coming, she was very happy and told her mother that she would eat semi-boarding," Ms. Ty shared.
From Nghia Ta, the journey continues to Mau Long Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School (Tuyen Quang) and Lung Cao Primary School (Thanh Hoa).
In Mau Long, two water purifiers at the taps were given to serve the daily water needs of students. In Lung Cao, the support is for items that are still lacking and degraded such as building toilets, repairing walls, repairing leaking roofs, and supplementing televisions, material cabinets and school supplies.
In addition to supporting facilities, ROX Key awarded cash scholarships to nearly 50 students in difficult circumstances at 3 schools.
Behind each scholarship given are many different circumstances. Some children grew up in poor households, living with their fathers after their parents divorced, some have fathers with disabilities and limited working capacity. There are also children who are orphans of both parents, currently being cared for and nurtured by relatives. In those still difficult conditions, they still strive to go to school, maintain their studies and participate in school activities.
Each gift, each scholarship, therefore, stems from practical and specific needs, contributing to improving living conditions, reducing difficulties in learning and helping students in difficult areas feel more secure on their journey to school.
Journey to continue sharing
The special feature of this ROX Share journey lies in the joint efforts of both businesses and staff of units under ROX Key, ROX Group. From leaders to employees, members of ROX Key, TNPM, IMC, Nhat Viet, TNTech, TNTalent, Popplife and even ROX Group employees have contributed together, turning the spirit of sharing into specific support for students and schools.
Each person contributes a part, each contribution carries its own value, but together towards practical needs at each destination, so that companionship does not only stop at gifts, but is also continued through the connection of the ROX community.
ROX Share - Sharing Love" is one of two branches of the community program series initiated and implemented by ROX Group for many years, in addition to the program "Together to School". As a member of ROX Group, ROX Key has accompanied ROX Share for many years.
Since 2021, ROX Key has implemented activities such as improving school facilities, giving school supplies to children in mountainous areas; and supporting groups that need more attention such as orphans, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities...
The journey has reached many localities such as Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa and continues to be extended to difficult places. The gifts given are selected based on the actual conditions of the school and the practical needs of students.
ROX Key directs community activities towards values that can be seen in daily life to help children have better learning conditions, more convenient living and more motivation to go to school.
