SeABank's SSB shares were selected into MarketVector Vietnam Local Index, the reference index VNM ETF - a foreign ETF fund with assets of over 500 million USD.

This is the next milestone in the process of SSB increasing its presence in international index sets, after being successively selected into the MSCI Frontier Markets Index and FTSE Global All Cap in recent reviews.

According to the Q3/2026 review results announced by MarketVector Indexes on September 12, SSB is the only newly added stock to MarketVector Vietnam Local Index. After the review period, VNM ETF's portfolio continues to include 55 stocks and one fund certificate. Portfolio restructuring activities are expected to be completed in the trading session on September 18.

MarketVector Vietnam Local Index is the benchmark index of VanEck Vectors Vietnam ETF (VNM ETF). As of September 10, 2026, the fund's portfolio size reached nearly 520 million USD, equivalent to about 13,500 billion VND.

According to estimates, SSB may be allocated a proportion of about 1.76% in the new portfolio of VNM ETF. With the current fund size, SSB's purchase volume is estimated at about USD 9.2 million, equivalent to about 13 million shares. This is the expected cash flow according to the index structure, not the purchase volume that has actually been completed.

Previously, in the August 2026 review, MSCI added SSB to the MSCI Frontier Markets Index basket, effective from September 1, 2026. This index set uses criteria on market capitalization, free-to-transfer stock ratio, liquidity and market access to select components.

SSB is also on the list of 27 Vietnamese stocks added to the FTSE Global All Cap basket in the September 2026 semi-annual review, effective from September 21, 2026. This may help SSB be followed by more funds and international investors, leading to opportunities to increase liquidity, attract cash flow and support stock prices.

Thus, in consecutive review periods from August and September 2026, SSB was successively selected into three sets of indices including MSCI Frontier Markets Index, FTSE Global All Cap and MarketVector Vietnam Local Index. The simultaneous appearance in many sets of indices will help SSB increase its presence in the tracking portfolio of international investment funds, especially passive investment funds and ETFs.

From a trading perspective, the session on September 15 showed that information about the restructuring period created a positive effect on SSB when shares increased to the ceiling price by 6.91% and the total calendar volume reached 11.87 million units, equivalent to a value of nearly 240 billion VND. With a price of 20,900 VND/share, SeABank's capitalization reached 72,498 billion VND.

Previously, Moody's Ratings upgraded SeABank's Core Credit Rating (BCA) to Ba3, upgraded the Long-term Partner Risk Rating (CRR) to Ba2 and adjusted the bank's outlook from "Stable" to "Proactive". In addition, SeABank was also recently awarded the First-class Labor Medal and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors was also awarded the title of Hero of Labor in the renovation period by General Secretary and President To Lam. These positive assessments, along with SSB's continuous inclusion in international index sets, create an additional layer of reference information about the process of improving SeABank's financial capacity, brand reputation and position in the market.

The fact that SSB has been continuously selected into international index sets in recent reviews shows that the stock has met strict criteria on market capitalization, liquidity, transparency and development potential and gradually expanded its reach to the global investment community. This is also one of the new milestones on SeABank's journey to enhance its position in the capital market, in parallel with the process of consolidating the financial foundation, management quality and competitiveness of the Bank.
