At the ceremony, the Board of Directors and staff of Vietbank donated directly and through the Union's bank account to raise funds to support compatriots. Vietbank also auctioned 07 works of art, including photos by Visual Artist and Photographer Pham Tuan Ngoc; unique 3D clay paintings supported by Chi Vien Fund and other works contributed by staff and employees. In addition, Vietbank also auctioned a series of beautiful account numbers, bringing the opportunity to own lucky numbers, bringing prosperity to customers.
The golden hearts and hearts beating in unison towards the beloved North made the launching ceremony a success beyond expectations, raising an impressive amount of donations of more than 700 million VND after only 2 hours of organization.
All cash collected from the program will be sent directly to the Vietbank Trade Union account number, donated to the affected people, supporting families who lost their lives due to natural disasters, families with injured people or those who suffered heavy damage to crops and livestock, as well as supporting cleanup and contributing to the reconstruction of important works and infrastructure serving the people.
Previously, on September 13, 2024, in order to promptly support people in areas severely affected by storms and floods, Vietbank mobilized employees across the system to support at least 1 day's salary; at the same time, Vietbank also spent 200 million VND in solidarity with the Vietnamese banking industry to support people as launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. On the same day, Vietbank's Trade Union visited and supported 100% of Vietbank employees in Quang Ninh - Hai Phong area and their families who suffered losses.
In addition to fundraising activities, Vietbank also promptly issued practical financial support solutions, accompanying the community to overcome difficulties after Typhoon Yagi. Specifically, the Bank reduced loan interest rates from 0.5% to 1.2%/year for customers affected by storms and floods, helping to reduce financial burdens and creating favorable conditions for people to restore production and business activities.
In addition, Vietbank offers preferential loan packages with interest rates starting from only 5%/year, simple procedures, loan terms up to 380 months and principal grace period up to 60 months. Thanks to that, customers can quickly access the necessary capital to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and quickly stabilize their lives.
