The bridge is expected to be put into operation in August 2025, shortening travel time from Vinhomes Royal Island to the city center to only about 5 minutes, becoming one of the new symbols for infrastructure development - socio-economy of Hai Phong.

The Royal Bridge is invested by Vingroup Corporation with a length of nearly 2.2 km, with a total capital of more than VND 2,300 billion. With the starting point located on Vu Yen Island connecting directly to Vu Yen Park walking street, the end point intersecting with Le Thanh Tong street ( May Chai ward, Ngo Quyen district), Hoang Gia bridge will directly connect the busiest area of Vinhomes Royal Island with the center of Hai Phong city in just about 5 minutes of travel.

Looking at the bridge level, the shape of each bridge tower is designed with inspiration from the image of a bird expressing the desire to fly high, reaching brilliant success.
After completing the closure process, the Royal Bridge is expected to be technically opened to traffic on May 30, 2025 and officially put into operation in August 2025, becoming one of the iconic infrastructure projects of the port city.
Along with the opening of the Royal Thai Bridge, Hai Phong also plans to locate the South Cam River area near the foot of the Royal Thai Bridge with a system of ecological parks, sports areas, services, housing and multi-purpose works... creating a highlight for the development of regional infrastructure.

Previously, Hai Phong has also deployed a series of infrastructure connecting Hai Phong's traditional urban area with the new urban area of Thuy Nguyen, expected to be completed in 2027, such as starting the construction of Nguyen Trai Bridge - the 6th bridge across Cam River, expanding Nguyen Trai Street from 18 m to 43.5 - 50.5 m directly connecting to Le Hong Phong; building a road along Cam River connecting Ngo Quyen Street with the riverside road at the foot of Hoang Van Thu Bridge; relocating Hoang Dieu Port and renovating the surrounding area...
When the projects are completed, Vu Yen and Thuy Nguyen will become strategic traffic coordinates, conveniently and quickly connecting with the center of Hai Phong's "old city", industrial parks, seaports and neighboring provinces.
Located in a prime location, where urban and social infrastructure is developing strongly, Vinhomes Royal Island is considered an ideal model of a multi-connected city, guaranteeing the potential for sustainable value increase and becoming a convergence point for the global elite community.
