ZWILLING Vietnam announces recall of ENFINIGY and ENFINIGY Pro water heaters

ZWILLING Vietnam announces the recall of ENFINIGY water heaters (1.5 liters) and ENFINIGY Pro (1.5 liters) distributed by the Company in Vietnam.

The recall was carried out because ZWILLING found that there was a safety risk related to the handles of the above-mentioned kettle samples. In some cases, the handles may be loose or completely broken off the body of the kettle. At that time, hot water may overflow uncontrollably, potentially causing burns to users or nearby people, including children. ZWILLING recorded a case of a user suffering burns of degree 02 related to this issue. According to medical assessments, the affected person is expected to recover completely and not leave long-term consequences.

According to the Company's internal risk assessment, product damage situations occur due to a combination of many factors, especially the water heater being exposed to certain agents and specific conditions during the production process. In addition, according to current recorded results, handles are usually not broken suddenly, but in most cases signs such as cracking and/or handles being loose before breaking appear. Therefore, users may notice these abnormal signs during use.

With a commitment to product quality and consumer safety, ZWILLING decided to recall affected water heater products. Consumers who are using products subject to recall are advised to stop using the product immediately and not let children use the heater. At the same time, consumers need to destroy the product and contact ZWILLING for guidance and support.

The recall program is implemented from May 2026 to September 2026. Consumers who own products subject to recall can register for refund at www. zwilling. com/kettle-recall. At the final step of the registration process, consumers will be instructed to stop using and destroy the product. After the Company verifies product information, the refund will be paid within a period of no more than 21 days. Consumers are also advised to immediately share this information with anyone who may be using the product, especially those who have purchased, borrowed or been given ENFINIGY (1.5 liters) or ENFINIGY Pro (1.5 liters) water heaters.

In order to protect consumers and prevent possible risks, ZWILLING has temporarily suspended the distribution and sale of products subject to recall, and at the same time notified consumers of the risk of unsafety through various communication channels. ZWILLING will continue to monitor feedback from consumers and proactively contact consumers and distributors to provide appropriate support. The company also said it will be responsible for claims arising from damages caused by products subject to recall in accordance with current law.
