SJC gold bar price decreased by 1.1 million VND/tael
Closing the week's trading session, Saigon Jewelry Company SJC and DOJI listed SJC gold bar prices at 144.6-147.6 million VND/tael (buying - selling). The difference between the buying and selling directions is at 3 million VND/tael.
Compared to the closing session of last week (August 30), SJC gold bar prices at Saigon Jewelry Company SJC and DOJI decreased by 1.1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
The high buying-selling spread continues to cause gold buyers to suffer large losses in the short term. If buying SJC gold bars in the 30.8 session and selling them in today's session (September 6), buyers at Saigon Jewelry Company SJC and DOJI will both lose 4.1 million VND/tael.

Gold ring buyers lose heavily up to 4.1 million VND/tael
In the 9999 gold ring segment, prices at businesses are differentiated. DOJI Group listed gold ring prices at 146-150 million VND/tael (buying - selling), an increase of 300,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The buying - selling difference is quite high, up to 4 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, Phu Quy Jewelry Group listed the price of gold rings at 144.6-147.9 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
Compared to a week ago, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy decreased by 1.1 million VND/tael on the buying side and decreased by 800,000 VND/tael on the selling side. The difference between the buying and selling prices is at 3.3 million VND/tael.
At the current price, if buying gold rings in the 30.8 session and selling them in the 6.9 session, buyers at DOJI will lose 3.7 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, buyers of gold rings at Phu Quy will lose 4.1 million VND/tael.
World gold prices fall by more than 25 USD/ounce
On the international market, closing the weekly trading session, world gold prices were listed at 4,429.1 USD/ounce, down 25.3 USD/ounce compared to a week ago.
This development shows that the world gold market has had a week of correction, while domestic gold prices are also under downward pressure, especially in the SJC gold bar segment.

In the coming week, the gold market will continue to be affected by important economic data. Investors need to closely monitor world price movements as well as the buy-sell gap at businesses before making a trading decision.
The difference between buying and selling maintained from 3-4 million VND/tael means that gold buyers in the short term still face a significant loss risk if the price does not increase strongly enough.

Gold price data is compared to a week earlier. The information in the article only reflects market developments, not investment recommendations.
