According to Lao Dong reporters today (November 9), the price of plain round gold rings has been adjusted up by brands compared to the previous trading session, many people continue to line up in front of gold shops waiting to buy.

However, it is very difficult to own gold rings at this time, because stores do not announce opening hours in advance or limit the number of rings per day.

Queuing up since the gold shop on Cau Giay Street (Hanoi) had not opened yet to wait to buy gold rings, Mr. Tran Van Hieu (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) shared: "The day before, I went to the gold shops on Tran Nhan Tong Street to wait to buy but could not buy any. That's why today I decided to go to Cau Giay early to wait to buy.

I will buy as much as the store allows. However, I don't know if I can buy it because there are a lot of people waiting in front of me."

Similar to Mr. Hieu, Ms. Pham Linh (Cau Giay district, Hanoi) bought a few rings last month and now also waited early to buy more.

"Currently, almost no one is selling gold rings, only buying them, because the price may increase further. Moreover, stores are limiting the number of rings sold, fearing that it will be even harder to buy in the future, so I still try to buy them as an asset to store," said Ms. Linh.

Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, an employee at a gold shop on Cau Giay street (Hanoi) said: "For many days now, the shop has regulated that one person can only buy a certain number of plain rings, because there is no gold to sell. This morning, we could only issue about 70 to 100 purchase coupons to customers."

Gold price update

As of 1:55 p.m. on November 9, the price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group was at VND82 - 85.8 million/tael (buy - sell). The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold at DOJI Group was VND3.8 million/tael.

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 82.3 - 85.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell). The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau is 3.5 million VND/tael.

At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI was listed at 83.35 - 85.15 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 550,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to early this morning.

Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 83.32 - 85.12, an increase of 240,000 VND/tael for buying and an increase of 40,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early morning of November 8.

The world gold price listed on Kitco at 1:55 p.m. on November 9 (Vietnam time) is at 2,684.455 USD/ounce.
