Recorded on July 13, HDBank's personal deposit interest rate table shows that VND savings interest rates are fluctuating depending on the term, deposit form and interest receipt method. In which, HDBank online interest rate group continues to have higher listings compared to deposits at counters for many terms.
HDBank interest rates for the main terms, highest 6%/year
According to the deposit interest rate schedule for individual customers, HDBank online VND savings interest rates are listed as follows:
The savings interest rate for terms of 1-2 months is 4.2%/year;
Savings interest rate for terms of 3-5 months is 4.3%/year;
The interest rate for 6-month term savings is 5.0%/year;
The interest rate for 12-month term savings is 5.3%/year;
Savings interest rates for terms of 13 and 15 months both reach 5.5%/year;
Savings interest rate for 18-month term reached 5.6%/year.
Notably, Vikki Online Savings product has a higher interest rate, including:
5.65%/year 6-month savings term;
5.95%/year savings term of 12 months;
and 6.0%/year for a 13-month savings term.
Vikki Online channel is currently where HDBank lists the highest interest rate for individual customers depositing money on a general scale, in which the 13-month term is leading with 6.0%/year.
Special term at HDBank with the highest interest rate of 7.6%/year
HDBank's interest rate table also records two special interest rates at the counter: 7.2%/year for 12-month term type 1 and 7.6%/year for 13-month term type 1.
However, these two interest rates apply to savings of at least 500 billion VND or more/savings card and only apply the late-term interest form, not applying early-term or periodic interest.
Depositing 1 billion VND at HDBank, how much interest will you receive at most?
With a deposit of 1 billion VND, if you choose a 13-month term at Online Vikki with an interest rate of 6.0%/year, the estimated interest according to the simple formula will be:
Interest = Deposit amount x interest rate x number of months deposited / 12
That is:
1,000,000,000,000 VND x 6.0% x 13 / 12 = 65,000,000,000 VND
Thus, customers depositing 1 billion VND at HDBank on a 13-month online Vikki term can receive about 65 million VND in interest upon maturity, not including changes in product conditions or specific regulations at the time of deposit.
If you deposit 1 billion VND at a 12-month online Vikki term with an interest rate of 5.95%/year, the estimated interest amount is:
1,000,000,000,000 VND x 5.95% x 12 / 12 = 59,500,000 VND
If you deposit 1 billion VND at an ordinary 18-month online term with an interest rate of 5.6%/year, the estimated interest amount is:
1,000,000,000,000 VND x 5.6% x 18 / 12 = 84,000,000,000 VND
However, the 18-month term has a longer deposit period. If considering the highest interest rate applied to a deposit of 1 billion VND, the 13-month online Vikki term with an interest rate of 6.0%/year is still the most prominent level in the current HDBank interest rate schedule.
