The store I chose to buy is currently selling a limited price of 1 tael of gold rings per customer. If you buy from 4 chi or more, you must postpone until mid-March to receive the goods, and if it is less than 4 chi, you can receive them immediately" - Mr. Phi said.
He added that this gold purchase is mainly to prepare for a personal plan in the near future.
My family plans to have important business at the end of the year, so we want to prepare a little gold in advance. Although the price is high, if we wait too long, it is difficult to know when it will be suitable. I bought 2 chi in advance as if available, later if necessary, I can buy more" - Mr. Phi shared.
According to him, gold is still a familiar and easy-to-use asset in many family occasions. "Keeping a little gold in the house makes me feel more secure" - Mr. Phi said.
Also on Tran Nhan Tong street, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu (Hai Ba Trung ward) said that she had just bought 0.1 taels of gold rings.
She said this is the first time she has bought gold. "I have seen people talking a lot about gold prices recently, so I also want to try buying a little to know. The amount is not large, so consider it as a personal financial experience" - she said.
According to her, buying in small quantities helps me get acquainted with the gold market without financial pressure. "If I find it suitable later, I can buy more. Currently, I just want to try it first" - she shared.
Meanwhile, there are customers who decide to buy more quantities even though they have to wait to receive the goods.
At a gold shop on Cau Giay street, Ms. Ngo Thuy Trang (Cau Giay ward) said that she had just ordered 5 taels of gold rings, but the store announced that it would not be possible to receive them until March 18.
Ms. Trang said that buying gold this time stemmed from the psychology of wanting to diversify how to keep money. "I usually keep money in my bank account, but recently I have seen many people switch to keeping a part of their assets in gold, so I also want to try to allocate a small part" - she said.
According to her, gold rings are a suitable choice because they are more flexible than other types of gold. "I buy them to keep for a long time, not for short-term trading, so waiting a few days to receive the goods is not a problem" - she said.
