After a long time fighting illness, Ms. Mai Thi Duyen's husband (born in 1991, in Dai Lai village, Lien Minh commune, Ninh Binh province), Mr. Mai Van T, who suffered from terminal cancer, did not survive. Mr. T's passing left great pain for the family and the burden of making a living weighed on the young wife's shoulders. Since her husband got sick and passed away, Ms. Duyen's family has fallen into a situation of overwhelming difficulty, when all expenses and raising children depend on her alone.
Previously, cancer took away the labor of Mr. T - the main breadwinner in the family. All the meager income of Ms. Duyen and her husband was also poured into medicine and hospital fees, causing the economy to become increasingly exhausted. The day he passed away, the mental pain had not yet subsided when the pressure of life appeared clearly before the young wife's eyes.
Sharing with us, Ms. Duyen choked up and recounted: "Before giving birth to the third child, to have a more decent place to live for our children, my husband and I discussed borrowing money to rebuild the house. But the house was just built rough, and before we could paint, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. After a period of treatment, my husband passed away, so the house is still unfinished like this.

Currently, to have funds to raise her children to study, Ms. Duyen continues to work at a company in Bao Minh Industrial Park. Because my children are still young, I only work office hours, not overtime, so the salary is not enough to cover monthly expenses for the 4 mothers and children and save up to pay debts.
According to Mr. Pham Van Trung - Secretary of the Party Cell of Dai Lai village, Ms. Duyen's family situation is currently very difficult. Ms. Duyen's husband is the main pillar, but unfortunately suffered from a dangerous disease and died early, and the family has many children, so it is very necessary for the community to join hands and share so that the family can overcome this difficult period. Each sharing, no matter how small, is also a valuable source of encouragement to help Ms. Duyen have more strength to continue raising her children and steadily move forward after a major event in her life.
