With the support and regional sponsorship of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, after more than 3 months of launching the contest, there were 1,675 works, including 1,563 single photos and 112 photo series by 146 authors from 29 provinces and cities nationwide participating in the contest. The jury selected 88 excellent works for exhibition, including 11 works that won the photo contest "TKV - 30 years of construction, innovation and development", including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 5 Encouragement prizes.
The entries and the winning and exhibited works not only depict the beauty of the labor of the staff and workers of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals industry, but also truly reflect the Group's continuous efforts in the process of construction, innovation and sustainable development; highlights of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals industry; affirm the position of TKV as one of the pillars ensuring national energy security, and the role of TKV in the development of the country.
NSNA, Vice Chairman of the Art Council, Chairman of the Jury Council Vu Anh Tuan also highly appreciated the results of the Contest, with many new works, specifically about one of the country's key economic sectors with many fields of coal production, electricity, minerals, mining chemicals, mechanical engineering..., attracting thousands of authors nationwide to participate. The award-winning works have depicted the most beautiful moments in production labor, honestly reflecting production and business activities; work safety assurance; cultural and spiritual life, cultural and sports movements, caring for the lives of workers of the Group, as well as the life, working atmosphere, joyful and exciting production labor of TKV's cadres, workers, and employees.
At the program, the Group awarded 1 First Prize to the work "The Shipment Leaving the Port" by author Ho Xuan Dung - Cua Ong Coal Selection Company; 2 Second Prizes were awarded to the works: "Miner Over a Hundred Years" by Pham Manh Hung and "Semi-Professional Mine Emergency Technical Sports - TKV" by author Vu Tien Dung; 3 Third Prizes were awarded to the works: "Medical Duty in the Mine" by Duong Phuong Dai, "Portrait of a Welder" by Nguyen Phuc Anh and "Daily Work" by Ngoc Nhu Hai and 5 Encouragement Prizes.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Photo Contest "Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, 30 years of construction, innovation and development" was a great success, attracting a large number of authors from many provinces and cities across the country and cadres and workers of units in TKV who love the art of photography to participate. Thereby, depicting and spreading beautiful images and moments in labor and activities in the production fields of TKV, improving the rich cultural and spiritual life of miners, is one of the meaningful events in the series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, now Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (October 10, 1994 - October 10, 2024).
