Screening, early detection of cancer for workers in the Eastern region

    The Labor Federation of Hai Ha District (Quang Ninh) has just coordinated with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Mong Cai Branch to organize a program to screen and detect cancer early for typical workers at enterprises in the Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park.

    Within one day, doctors and nurses of PTLAB Testing Center examined and screened 100 typical workers and laborers of the company in the Industrial Park for cancer, with the following contents: Colon cancer screening; ovarian cancer screening; blood index testing; thyroid, abdominal, breast ultrasound... The team of doctors and nurses also advised on cancer prevention and control measures.

    At the same time, the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Health to organize a health examination and consultation program for 150 female workers of the Hong Van Hotel Joint Stock Company and Loi Lai International Entertainment Joint Stock Company.
