Teachers teaching majors that are difficult to recruit students enjoy policies to attract and rely on

Clause 1, Article 15, Decree 93/2026/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Teachers (effective from March 31, 2026) stipulates the subjects entitled to policies to attract and value teachers specified in Clause 1, Article 25 of the Law on Teachers, including:

a) Talented people as prescribed in Article 4 of Decree No. 179/2024/ND-CP stipulating policies to attract and value talented people to work in agencies, organizations, units of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations;

b) Professor, associate professor or person recognized as meeting the standards for the title of professor, associate professor;

c) People who have achieved high-level national and international achievements in the fields of culture, arts, sports, and traditional industries and professions;

d) Being Meritorious Artisans, Meritorious Artists, Meritorious Doctors, People's Artisans, People's Artists, People's Doctors; people with national vocational skills certificates of level 4 or higher or having certificates of excellent professional skills, winning first, second, third, and consolation prizes at regional and international vocational skills competitions;

e) People coming to work in ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, border areas, islands and areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions;

e) Teachers performing teaching, education, and scientific research tasks in some key and essential fields according to socio-economic development needs;

g) Teachers teaching majors and professions that are difficult to recruit students but are in need of society; specialized majors and professions in the fields of art, sports, health, defense and security.

Thus, from March 31, 2026, the above subjects will enjoy policies to attract and value teachers.
