Preschool teachers are divided into 3 ranks, tasks increase gradually
The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued Circular 28/2026/TT-BGDDT regulating professional standards for preschool teachers. The Circular takes effect from the date of signing (April 9).
According to the circular, preschool teachers are divided into 3 grades: Grade I Preschool Teacher; Grade II Preschool Teacher; Grade III Preschool Teacher.
Each class of teachers is assigned specific tasks.

For grade III kindergarten teachers, the tasks according to Circular 28 include:
Implement the nurturing, care, and education of children according to the school's education plan and professional groups; be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of nurturing, caring for, and educating children in groups and classes assigned to be in charge according to the Preschool Education Program;
Implementing inclusive education and children's rights; participating in building a safe and happy educational environment, protecting children's mental health. See more...

8th grade female student ganged up on by a group of friends, forced to take off her shirt in the middle of class
On April 14, representatives of the leadership of Ngoc Lac Secondary School (Ngoc Lac commune, Thanh Hoa province) said that regarding the incident of a female student at school being assaulted by a group of friends, the school has reported to functional agencies for clarification.

According to a school representative, previously, the unit had received a complaint from the family of B.G. H (8A1 student) about being ganged up on by a group of school friends right in the classroom. Immediately after that, the school proceeded to verify.
According to the students' reports, at about 11:45 am on March 30, after school, the teacher left, 3 8A1 students stayed in class to resolve conflicts and then a scuffle occurred. Two students who participated in beating their friend were P.H. A and P.Q. C, both studying at the school.

Targets and regulations for enrollment in 10th grade specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City
In the 2026-2027 school year, all 5 specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will enroll grade 10 students nationwide.

In which, 4 specialized high schools under the Department will enroll students according to the city's general plan with about 2,240 quotas.
Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted is expected to enroll 805 targets, equivalent to 23 specialized 10th grade classes.
Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted is expected to enroll 525 targets, equivalent to 13 specialized 10th grade classes.
Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted and Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted are expected to jointly enroll 455 targets. See more...
