The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1.3, Article 1, Official Dispatch No. 1678/SGDDT-TCCB dated August 22, 2025 of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Regarding the approval of preferential allowances for teachers who are directly teaching in public educational institutions, stipulates the subjects and levels of preferential allowances as follows: kindergartens, junior high schools and high schools, high schools, comprehensive technical centers - vocational training, continuing education centers, vocational education centers - continuing education centers, continuing education centers - vocational training centers, continuing education centers - vocational training - job introduction, continuing education centers and vocational training:

Teachers who are directly teaching in kindergartens are entitled to a 35% allowance;

Teachers who are directly teaching in junior high and high schools, high schools, technical centers - career guidance, continuing education centers, vocational education centers - continuing education, continuing education centers - career guidance, continuing education centers - vocational training - job introduction, continuing education centers and vocational training receive a 30% allowance.

Thus, the preferential allowance for teachers in public schools in Ho Chi Minh City is regulated as above.
