Article 7 of Circular No. 05/2026/TT-BGDĐT stipulates the working regime for professional education teachers (effective from February 12, 2026) stipulates the working time as follows:
1. The working time of a college-level teacher is 44 weeks, including:
a) 32 weeks of performing teaching duties;
b) 12 weeks of participating in learning and training; implementing science, technology and innovation activities; updating and improving practical skills, accessing new technologies; attending lectures, exchanging experiences and other professional and nghiệp vụ activities.
2. The working time of teachers teaching intermediate level is 44 weeks, including:
a) 36 weeks of performing teaching duties;
b) 08 weeks of participating in learning and training; implementing science, technology and innovation activities; updating and improving practical skills, accessing new technologies; attending lectures, exchanging experiences and other professional and nghiệp vụ activities.
3. The working time of primary level teachers is 46 weeks, including:
a) 42 weeks of performing teaching duties;
b) 04 weeks of participating in learning and training; implementing science, technology and innovation activities; updating and improving practical skills, accessing new technologies; attending lectures, exchanging experiences and other professional and nghiệp vụ activities.
4. The working time of teachers holding educational institution management positions in vocational education institutions is 46 weeks, including the time of performing teaching tasks to ensure standard hours according to the provisions of Clause 5, Article 8 of this Circular.
Thus, from February 12, 2026, the working hours of college-level teachers will be implemented according to the above regulations.
