Standards for soldiers to be awarded the title of "Advanced Soldier"

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 13 of Circular 118/2023/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense regulating and guiding emulation and reward in the Vietnam People's Army stipulates the titles of "Advanced Soldier" and "Advanced Worker" as follows:

1. The title of "Advanced Soldier" is awarded annually to soldiers, workers, civil servants, and defense officials; standing militia, mobile militia meeting the following standards:

a) Comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the Army's discipline;

b) Completing tasks well or better; 100% of exam or test content meets requirements, of which 75% or more are good or excellent;

c) Have a spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, solidarity, mutual assistance, actively participate in emulation movements, and actively contribute to the completion of tasks of agencies and units.

2. The title of "Advanced Worker" is awarded annually to contract workers; people working in key organizations, and workers under the Government backbone Committee who meet the standards specified in Clause 1 of this Article.

Thus, soldiers who want to be awarded the title of "Advanced Soldier" must meet the above standards.
