Bonus level for standing militia achieving the title of Advanced Soldier from July 2025

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 2, Article 24 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 stipulates: The title of "Advanced Soldier" is awarded to soldiers, workers, civil servants, and defense officials of the People's Army; standing militia, mobile militia; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and workers working in agencies and units under the People's Public Security who meet the standards specified in Clause 1 of this Article.

Clause 1, Article 50 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the bonus level for emulation titles for individuals as follows:

a) The title of "National Emulation Fighter" is awarded a Certificate, frame, Badge, Badge container and is rewarded 4.5 times the basic salary;

b) The title of emulation fighter of ministries, departments, branches, and provinces is awarded with a Certificate, frame, Badge, and a container of the Badge and is awarded 3.0 times the basic salary;

c) The title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" is awarded a Certificate, a framework and is rewarded 1.0 times the basic salary;

d) The title of "Advanced Worker" and "Advanced Soldier" is awarded 0.3 times the basic salary.

According to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month.

Thus, from July 1, 2025, the standing militia who achieve the title of Advanced Soldier will be awarded 702,000 VND according to the above regulations.
