Clause 1, Article 46 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 (effective from January 1, 2025) regulates ensuring road traffic order and safety for cars carrying preschool children , students are as follows:
1. Cars used for transporting preschool children and students must meet the following requirements:
a) Ensure the conditions specified in Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 35 of this Law; There is a device to record images of preschool children, students and a device with a warning function to prevent children being left in the vehicle; have a shelf life of not more than 20 years; have paint colors according to Government regulations;
b) Cars transporting preschool children or elementary school students must have age-appropriate seat belts or use vehicles with age-appropriate seats as prescribed by law.
Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 35 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 (expected to take effect from January 1, 2025) stipulate the conditions for vehicles participating in road traffic as follows:
1. Motor vehicles and specialized motorcycles participating in road traffic must meet the following conditions:
a) Be granted a vehicle registration certificate and license plate according to the provisions of law;
b) Ensure quality, technical safety and environmental protection according to the provisions of law.
2. Cars for transport business must be equipped with trip monitoring equipment. Passenger cars with 8 seats or more (excluding the driver's seat) for transport business, tractor-trailers, and ambulances must be equipped with trip monitoring devices and driver image recording devices. car.
Thus, from January 1, 2025, cars transporting preschool children and students must have equipment to record images of preschool children and students and devices with warning and anti-abandonment functions. Forget children in the vehicle according to the regulations mentioned above.
