On January 31, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training issued a decision on assigning targets for youth planning, students, and enrollment targets for the 2026 - 2027 school year. According to the decision, the high school (THPT) block is assigned 96,530 students, equivalent to 2,290 classes at 76 schools in the area.
The new enrollment target for grade 10 is 38,690 students (equivalent to 871 classes). For the remaining grades, grade 11 has 26,815 students (664 classes) and grade 12 has 31,025 students (755 classes).
For the continuing education (GDTX) block, the Department of Education and Training assigned 4,705 students with 113 classes, implemented at 4 centers (from GDTX Center No. 1 to No. 4). In which, the new enrollment target for grade 10 is 1,215 students. Grades 11 and 12 have 1,193 and 2,297 students respectively.

At the secondary school level (THCS), the total target is 2,001 students with 50 classes. These targets are concentrated in 5 units including: Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School; Tuong Lai Specialized School and the system of Ethnic Minority Boarding Schools (PTDTNT) THCS-THPT in Nam Tra My, Phuoc Son, Nuoc Oa. Class 6 alone recruits 385 new students.
At the primary level, the plan assigns 386 students with 31 classes, concentrated at Tuong Lai Specialized School and the Center for Supporting Inclusive Education Development. The new enrollment target for grade 1 is 164 students. Grades from grades 2 to 5 range from 43 to 60 students each grade.
Finally, at the preschool level, the Department of Education and Training assigns 225 children with 13 groups and classes. Among them, the nursery group has 82 children (6 classes) and the kindergarten block has 143 children (7 classes), mainly implemented at specialized and inclusive educational institutions.
