On the morning of June 6, more than 70,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City officially entered the first exam (Literature) in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said it has planned 142 exam locations (including 132 regular exam locations and 10 specialized exam locations) with 3,558 exam rooms; mobilized more than 10,000 teachers to be exam officers and 2,070 service staff.
At each exam location, 3 more reserve rooms are arranged to handle special cases that arise.
Each candidate will participate in 3 subjects: Math, Literature (120 minutes/subject) and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates taking the entrance exam to a specialized school or an integrated class will take an additional exam in a specialized subject or an integrated subject (150 minutes).
The admission score is the total score: Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score + priority and incentive score (if any).
