In 2025, Vietnam Maritime University will enroll 5,000 full-time university students with 50 majors of training according to 06 independent admission methods:
- Method 1 (PT1): Admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
- Method 2 (PT2): Admission according to a separate project of Vietnam Maritime University (Combined Admission) applies to all majors.
Method 3 (PT3): Admission based on high school academic and training results (based on academic records).
- Method 4 (PT4): Admission based on the competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University or Ho Chi Minh City National University or the thinking assessment test scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2024 or 2025.
- Method 5 (PT5): Admission combined with international language certificate and academic records.
- Method 6 (PT6): Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in Article 8 of the Admission Regulations issued with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDDT issued on June 6, 2022.
