The Air Defense - Air Force Academy has just announced the enrollment for military training at the university level in 2026 as follows:
Subjects, age, enrollment scope:
Subject:
- Non-commissioned officers - soldiers serving in the army according to the provisions of law on military service, with a service duration of 12 months or more, as of April 2026 (militants enlisted from 2025 or earlier); Professional soldiers; National defense workers and public employees serving in the army for 12 months or more, as of September 2026;
- Young men outside the army (including demobilized soldiers and citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the people's police), unlimited number of registrations.
Age of candidates (as of 2026, excluding birth month):
- Non-military youth from 17 to 21 years old;
- Military personnel in active service or demobilized and citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the people's police force from 18 to 23 years old.
Enrollment scope: Enroll male candidates nationwide.
Enrollment targets, training majors in 2026:
Admission method:
- Method 1 (PT1): Direct admission, priority admission according to the university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
- Method 2 (PT2): Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by domestic universities in 2026 (Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University).
- Method 3 (PT3): Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam by the Ministry of National Defense.
- Method 4 (PT4): Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
