Implementing Instruction No. 3160/HD-TSQS dated June 10, 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense's Military Command on admission to military universities and colleges in the military schools in 2025.
The Department of Military Training - Schools, the Standing Agency of the Military Command of the Ministry of National Defense agreed on the addition of encouragement points in admission to military universities and colleges in the military schools in 2025, as follows:
1. Stipulate in Clause 6, Section II, Part II of Instruction No. 3160/HD-TSQS dated June 10, 2025
The groups that received additional encouraged points include:
- Group 01: Students who won national and international excellent student awards and national and international science and technology competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (encouragement points when candidates do not use the right to direct admission, prioritize admission or candidates who won national and international awards in one of the subjects according to the admission combination).
- Group 02: Excellent high school students won prizes in the Provincial or Central City Excellent Student Competition in one of the subjects according to the admission combination or a combination of all 3 admission subjects of the school.
- Group 03: Excellent high school students with certificates of results of international competency assessment exams (SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL iBT), the certificates are still valid until August 22, 2025.
2. Agree to implement
a) For group 01 and group 02
- National and international awards and excellent high school students won awards in the Provincial or Central City Excellent Student Competition only adding incentive points to the combination containing the winning subject (not adding points to the combination without the winning subject).
For example: A school has 3 admission combinations: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), C01 (Math, Physics, Literature). If the candidate wins the Math or Physics prize and is given an incentive point in all 3 admission combinations, the Chemistry prize is given an incentive point in the A00 group, the English prize is given an incentive point in the A01 group, and the Literature prize is given an incentive point in the C01 group.
- When converting points from the HSA and APT competency assessment test to a combination containing the winning subject, points will be accumulated, while when converting to a combination without the winning subject, points will not be accumulated.
- After adding the motivation points to the high school exam score combination or the conversion points from the competency assessment test, compare the scores achieved according to the combinations, which is the highest will be included in the admission.
b) For group 03: Candidates are allowed to add points to all admission combinations.
