Vinh Long University of Technology and Education has just announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for regular university admission methods in 2026.
1. Entrance quality assurance threshold (floor score) registering for admission based on high school academic results (based on transcripts).
a) Entrance quality assurance threshold (floor score) registered for admission to standard training majors, engineers/bachelors working in Japan, high quality (linked 2+2) reaching 18,000 points or more and total high school graduation exam score according to the admission combination or total high school graduation exam score in Mathematics, Literature and any subject reaching 15,000 points or more (without coefficient multiplication), excluding bonus points, bonus points and priority points. (Not applicable to Technology Pedagogy, Law majors).
b) For the Law major: The average general academic results are assessed as good (academic ability ranked from excellent or higher) for the whole 12th grade year (academic results of 02 semesters of the final year for vocational secondary school and equivalent subjects) and the total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination (or using the scores of Math, Literature and another exam subject) reaching 18,00 points or higher, excluding bonus points, bonus points and priority points or high school graduation consideration score (high school graduation exam score) from 8.50 or higher.
2. Entrance quality assurance threshold (floor score) registered for admission based on high school exam scores
a) The input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for standard training programs, engineers/bachelors working in Japan and high-quality programs (2+2 linkage) reaching 15,000 points or more (without multiplication of coefficients) according to the admission combination, excluding bonus points, bonus points and priority points. (Not applicable to Technology Pedagogy and Law majors).
b) For the Technology Pedagogy major - Major code: 7140246. Entrance quality assurance threshold (floor score) for candidates in area 3 reaching 20,00 points or higher; for candidates in area 2, it must reach 19.75 points or higher; for candidates in rural area 2, it must reach 19.50 points or higher; for candidates in area 1, it must reach 19.25 points or higher (without multiplication of coefficients) according to the admission combination, excluding bonus points, bonus points and priority points.
c) For the Law major: The input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for candidates in area 3 must reach 20,00 points or higher; for candidates in area 2, it must reach 19.75 points or higher; for candidates in rural area 2, it must reach 19.50 points or higher; for candidates in area 1, it must reach 19.25 points or higher (without multiplication of coefficients) according to the admission combination, excluding bonus points, bonus points and priority points. In which the score for Math or Literature subject reaches 6,000 points or higher.
