The Academy of Journalism and Propaganda has just announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) and the conversion table equivalent to the benchmark scores between regular university admission methods in 2026.
Accordingly, the floor score according to the admission method using high school graduation exam scores is from 24 points (40 scale, applied to major group 1 with Literature multiplied by a coefficient of 2) and from 18 points (30 scale, applied to major groups 2, 3 and 4).
According to the combined admission method:
- Candidates applying for combined admission using valid international English certificates equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or higher, 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework certificate for Vietnam VSTEP level 3 or higher according to the Academy's 2026 official university admission information.
- Combined admission scores are determined by industry group:
+ For majors/specialties belonging to industry group 1, industry group 2 and industry group 4:
Admission score = Converted score of English certificate + average score of 6 semesters in Literature + average score of 6 semesters in Mathematics + bonus points, priority points (if any).
+ For the History major belonging to major group 3:
Admission score = Converted score of English certificate + average score of 6 semesters in Literature + average score of 6 semesters in History + bonus points, priority points (if any).
