Of which, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted has 3,926 candidates registered to take the exam. The school's enrollment quota is 805. The average admission rate is 1/4.88.
Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted has 1,624 candidates taking the exam. The school's enrollment quota is 455. The average admission rate is 1/3.57.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City allows candidates across the country to register to take the exam to both Le Hong Phong and Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.
In previous years, only Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted enrolled nationwide.
The admission score is the total score: Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score + (specialty score x 2).
Students who register have 2 priority wishes to join the specialized class. Arrange in order of priority from high to low (aspiration 1, 2), if you are admitted and have a wish, you must study according to that wish, without changing your wishes.
If they are not admitted or do not submit their application to specialized schools, students graduating from junior high school in the 2024-2025 school year in Ho Chi Minh City will still be eligible to participate in the 10th grade admission exam according to 3 wishes to enter public high schools.
In integrated classes at 10 high schools, a total of 1,169 candidates registered to take the exam.
10 high schools enrolling in integrated classes include: Bui Thi Xuan, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Luong The Vinh, Mac Dinh Chi, Gia Dinh, Phu Nhuan, Nguyen Thuong Hien, Nguyen Huu Huan, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the Gifted and Saigon Practical High School.

On June 6 and the morning of June 7, more than 76,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City completed 3 subjects (Literature, English, Math) in the entrance exam for grade 10 at public high schools.
