On August 24, Jennie (Blackpink) officially announced information about the release of the physical EP "Fallen angel", and shared a series of themed photos.
Along with the announcement, Jennie sent a message to fans: “I am really happy that these songs are finally released under the name ‘Fallen angel’, and hope everyone will hear them soon”.
The album includes a total of 6 songs, from the title track "Fallen angel" to "Less than a lover", "Sweettooth", "Lockitdown", "Face" and "Heaven".
Notably, "Sweettooth", "Lockitdown" and "Face" are songs Jennie personally chosen to dedicate to fans, and are also songs only available in the physical EP version. Among them, "Face" is a new song announced for the first time through this version.
Previously, Jennie had introduced new songs at major music festivals around the world.
The series of themed photos released on the same day also attracted attention with a deep, painting atmosphere, highlighted by the contrast between black and white and strong red. The staging like a movie scene, combined with captions, creates a characteristic atmosphere and makes audiences even more eager to wait for Jennie's new product.
Before releasing the physical EP, Jennie will release the digital EP "Fallen angel (Digital EP)" on August 28.
On August 24, Blackpink's youngest member Lisa also revealed plans to return with new music activities.

The female singer posted a theme photo on Instagram with the announcement that she will release the single "SaWaDiKa" on September 3rd, before releasing the EP "Press play" on October 23rd. This is considered the opening signal for the female singer's new solo project.
Lisa poses in a space covered in color-shifting light, her long hair is brushed aside. She wears black outfits revealing her shoulders and directing her eyes towards the camera, creating an impressive image.
After Jennie and Lisa, Blackpink's eldest sister Jisoo recently also suddenly announced a new personal project.
Jisoo successively released introductory images, countdown pages and "teasing" videos for the new song "Click" through the official application and social networking channels of the management company BLISSOO.
The poster has a pink background with a shadow effect, highlighted by a heart icon, the words "Click" and Jisoo's name. Instead of revealing specific information, the poster focuses on suggestive keywords, making fans even more curious about the meaning of "Click".
On the revealed countdown page, time is drifting towards 1 pm on September 4, with the setting being a mysterious amusement park.
Meanwhile, although Rosé has not revealed her personal plans since the album "Rosie" and the global hit "APT.", recently the female singer has repeatedly shared photos in the recording studio, proving that she is also actively preparing for her solo comeback.
According to Korean media, Blackpink is taking different steps.
Celebrating 10 years of operation is an important milestone in the Kpop industry. Usually, music groups will release group projects on this important occasion. But Blackpink members are now focusing more on personal projects.
