Since when has Thuy Van had a passion for reading books?
- I remember when I was young, my parents took me to the bookstore to choose the first comic books. There were always books and newspapers available in the house, so holding books and reading them in my free time became a natural reflex.
When do you usually spend time reading books during the day?
- I divide reading time according to purpose: the morning is dedicated to professional books when intelligence is most clear, the evening reading with children to nurture love for books and connect families.
Have you ever felt the need to "fight" between the attractiveness of social networks and the habit of reading books?
- If I want to become who I am, I will know how to use resources and time. Instead of being controlled, I use them as a means to train and upgrade myself. When the goal is clear, the attraction from social networks will no longer be a barrier.
What books does Á hậu Thuy Van usually carry in her handbag these days?
- The book that often accompanies me these days is "Anthropology Facing the Problems of the Modern World" by Claude Lévi-Strauss. Anthropological - cultural perspectives help me find answers to contemporary problems, both interesting and practical.

In the long process of reading books until now, is there any quote from the book that you are most satisfied with?
- I am impressed with the Latin phrase'Nihil novi sub sole' –'Nothing new under the sun'. It reminds me that most phenomena have happened in history, only different forms. Therefore, understanding history and culture is especially important in the uncertain moments of life and the market.
Surely reading books has also helped Veterinarian Van in her journey to conquer beauty contests?
- Up to now, many beauty contests have taken place, I am grateful that the public still affectionately calls me'Miss Conduct' or'Miss Swallowing the mic'. It is the knowledge accumulated from books that has given me confidence and bravery to receive that recognition.
When you become a mother, how do you train your son's reading habits?
- I believe reading culture starts from family. Right from when he was young, I persistently read bilingual books for him, so that books become his close friend. Thanks to that, the book lover has been able to read and create his own bilingual stories.

Some opinions say that reading is a difficult choice in the limited time of young people. With your experience, is this true?
- I think we need to be honest with each other: Reading books is never easy, but it is a long-term investment that requires effort. Maintaining the habit of reading every day is also training discipline - the foundation for success in any field.
In your opinion, is AI a challenge for practicing reading culture? In reality, many people have easily used AI to grasp the content of a book.
- What is easy to get is often easy to forget. AI only summarizes the surface, and deep reading turns information into our own knowledge. If we ignore reading and research, we can easily lose our ability to think independently and be led by technology.
If you advise young people to choose a book to start a reading habit, which book would you choose? Why?
- Choose the book you love and find most necessary at this time. Whether it's a comic book, a skill book or an academic book, just arouse curiosity and desire to learn, that's the best book to start with.
