Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, and leaders of a number of ministries and branches attended the event.
On the Japanese side, there were Miss Tsuguko - a member of the Japanese Imperial Family; Mr. Koga Yuichiro, Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Secretary of the Japanese Imperial Family Office; Ambassador Haneda Koji, Permanent Representative of Japan at EXPO 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long said that participating in the EXPO 2025, Vietnam chose the theme "Comprehensive society with people at the center". Thereby, Vietnam wishes to share proud stories about a country of Vietnam with a heroic history; dynamic and integrated economy; rich, diverse culture, rich identity; diligent, affectionate, hospitable people; an orderly and safe society; all for the prosperous and happy life of the people, "leaving no one behind".
"It is even more meaningful when Vietnam National Day this year takes place right in the historic September days, when the Vietnamese people solemnly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," the Deputy Prime Minister shared.
The Vietnam Exhibition at EXPO 2025 is a combination of tradition - modernity and tomorrow with display language and modern technology to spread proud stories about the country and people of Vietnam to international friends with the aspiration to make a breakthrough in the new era.
At the same time, introduce the potential and strengths of localities and businesses to open up cooperation and investment opportunities in the future.

The Deputy Prime Minister was pleased to know that since its official opening, the Vietnam Exhibition House has welcomed about 1 million visitors and is considered one of the favorite destinations.
The Deputy Prime Minister shared that, entering a new era of development, promoting good traditions and achievements after 40 years of renovation, Vietnam sets top priority in successfully implementing strategic goals by 2030 as a developing country with modern industry and high average income; by 2045, becoming a developed country with high income; all people are comprehensively developed, have a prosperous, free and happy life; a prosperous, civilized and prosperous society.
During that journey, Vietnam has consistently implemented its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, and diversification, for peace, cooperation and development, as a friend, a trusted partner, and a responsible member of the international community. In particular, Vietnam appreciates the fact that Japan has always been a top important partner, a sincere and trustworthy friend, accompanying Vietnam for decades.


At the opening ceremony, there was a special art program (national music, classical music, martial arts performance...) performed by Vietnamese artists, combining tradition and contemporary, with the participation of leading artists from Vietnamese art theaters, artisans from Bac Ninh and Gia Lai.
The Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 is organized and operated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with an area of 300 m2.
Within the framework of the event, many unique cultural and artistic programs along with promotional and exchange activities will be organized, aiming to bring visitors vivid, profound and memorable experiences. A space imbued with cultural identity, demonstrating the potential and integration of Vietnam will be opened at the world's largest exhibition event.
