(S) TRONG Trong Hieu shared about the big turning point in his life: “In 2015, I was supposed to return to Vietnam just to visit my family but accidentally joined the Vietnam Idol program. From that day on, my life changed 180 degrees. I think it was like the universe guided me. Because I never thought I would make music in Vietnam or start my life here.”
(S) TRONG Trong Hieu talks about the meaning behind his new stage name. “To be honest, I don’t believe in things like names that will make my path more difficult…”, he said.
After 8 years of struggling in showbiz, Trong Hieu gradually realized that everything he had to face, the challenges on his artistic path were all very difficult.
After enduring those hardships, he wanted to change his stage name and accept new, lighter things in life.
Lien Binh Phat said: "My name Lien Binh Phat is not a common name. Therefore, besides the difficulties I had to face when participating in the program "Call Me by Fire", I also encountered difficulties related to my name."
Despite being active in the entertainment industry for quite a while, Lien Binh Phat still cannot make the audience remember his name. Recently, there has even been some inaccurate information about his real name.
Lien Binh Phat said he also faced the perception of "dead roles" after the success of the movie Song Lang and was only known to the audience through reality game shows.
“I can’t control those opinions. So I don’t focus on them. I just focus on myself. I know how happy I am, how I enjoy my journey, what I can do and what value I create for this life,” the actor confided.
At the end of the show, Lien Binh Phat expressed to his close friend (S) TRONG: "We didn't meet each other much during the competition, but every time I interacted with you, I focused on it. That's why I got the most from you."
If he had to give advice to (S) TRONG Trong Hieu, he would share: "No matter what anyone says about you, your fame, whether positive or negative, you just need to know, be aware of what you have done for this life, yourself, and the people around you."
Talking about Lien Binh Phat, (S) TRONG Trong Hieu gracefully expressed: "I really appreciate your personality, because to do those things, you have to be confident, understand yourself, then you dare to be yourself," the male singer confided.
