At the beginning of the journey, the artists underwent a challenge at the "Talented Confirmation Station" with a series of humorous situations when the recognition system continuously refused to scan their faces. This year's season gathers 10 teams with their own colors such as "Anh tai lam chieu", "Quái kiệt mong mơ", "Những kẻ lãng du", "Biệt đội tái xuất" or "Tổ đội sóng ngầm". According to the new rules, teams will compete in a direct confrontation format through five matches. Each team performs individual and group performances before the audience at the studio votes for the winning team. In addition, the five artists with the highest individual points will receive "Nhẫn chiến tướng", creating an advantage for the next round.
In the first match, "Anh tai lam chieu" including Dai Nghia, Huynh Lap and Mew Amazing made an impression with a series of performances combining music, stage and entertainment elements. The climax came when Dai Nghia performed the banana tree planting move right on stage but still maintained the live singing part, surprising the whole auditorium. After the performance, the male artist revealed that he had to accept the backstage attacks to complete the performance.
Meanwhile, "Burning First Love" with the participation of Will, Toki Thanh Tho, K.O and Ho Dong Quan brings the image of a true idol group with even and energetic singing and dancing. Despite being highly appreciated for their performance technique, the group still lost to "Anh Tai Lam Chieu". Will said he admired the stage presence and expressiveness of his seniors, while Huynh Lap said that the victory came from the combination of entertainment and emotion that the group brought.
The remaining pair witnessed a confrontation between "Quái kiệt mộng mơ" and "Những kẻ lãng du". "Quái kiệt mộng mơ" gathered Trinh Thang Binh, Ha An Huy and Tho (Da LAB), bringing a pop-rock music space with newly remixed hits. In particular, Tho was moved when performing solo for the first time after nearly two decades of activity with Da LAB, while Trinh Thang Binh marked his return after a long absence.
Facing them, "The Wanderers" including Dinh Manh Ninh, Thom (Da LAB) and Dung DT chose to exploit the youth memories of the 8X and 9X generations with a series of familiar songs. Although not strong in dance, the group created sympathy thanks to their closeness, humor and positive energy. The moment Thom shared about nearly 20 years of accompanying Tho and then having to face off on stage also brought many emotions to the audience. In the end, "The Wanderers" won thanks to empathy and entertainment in the performance.
