The fact that Baby Monster will perform on Japan's top music shows shows their great ambition to conquer this market.

Baby Monster - YG Entertainment's "monster rookie" is quickly gaining popularity in Japan. The group is solidifying its position as a top girl group by appearing on three of Japan's top music shows.

According to YG Entertainment, Baby Monster will kick off their series of events on November 29 with a live performance on TV Asahi's flagship program Music Station.

They will then appear on NHK's "VENUE101" on November 30, followed by Fuji TV's "Weekly Ninety-Nine Music" on December 11.

These shows are considered the top 3 music shows in Japan, similar to the major music shows in Korea, including Mnet.

During these broadcasts, Baby Monster will showcase their live singing ability, which has become their trademark, using a handheld microphone.

They will perform songs from their recently released debut album "Drip." The group will sing entirely in Korean.

Baby Monster's debut album achieved success not only in South Korea, but also in important K-pop markets such as Japan and North America.

In Japan, the group topped iTunes' "Top Album Chart" and the "Real-Time Top 100 Album Chart" on Line Music, the country's largest streaming platform. In North America, the group stayed on the Billboard chart for three consecutive weeks.

Starting early next year, 2025, Baby Monster will embark on their first world tour, starting at Seoul's KSPO Dome and expanding to North America and Japan.
