According to the latest announcement by Billboard, Kpop girl group Baby Monster entered the Top 200 Album chart (ranking the most popular albums in the US) for the first time.
The 7-member rookie girl group's new mini album "Drip" debuted at No. 149 on the Billboard 200. This is Baby Monster's first album to do so.
Baby Monster also debuted on Billboard's Artist 100 chart at number 63, marking the group's first appearance on the chart.
In addition to the Billboard 200, “Drip” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 11 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 12 on the Top Album Sales chart (meaning it was the 12th best-selling album of the week in the U.S.), and No. 22 on the Independent Albums chart.
Meanwhile, Baby Monster’s new title track “Drip” debuted at No. 30 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart, marking the group’s first time entering the Top 30 of the chart. “Drip” also debuted at No. 16 on the Global Excl. US chart this week.
