Singer Ha Anh Tuan called on many fans and relatives to participate in the campaign "For a Vietnam not burdened by HPV".
On March 29, the Ministry of Health officially launched the national campaign "For a Vietnam not burdened by HPV", with the goal of raising awareness and calling for prevention of diseases and cancers caused by the HPV virus (Human Papilloma virus).
The event took place within the framework of an exhibition on HPV defense, organized by the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Women's Union, with sponsorship from MSD for educational purposes. The event was honored to welcome leaders of the Ministry of Health, US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper, representatives of international health organizations and leading experts in this field.

HPV - a common virus that causes breast tumors in humans, can cause dangerous diseases including cervical cancer, terminal cancer, penis cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer and other diseases in both men and women.
According to statistics from globocan 2022, there are about 6,200 HPV-related cancers in Vietnam each year, of which more than 2,500 women die from cervical cancer. Without timely intervention measures, it is forecasted that by 2030, about 200,000 Vietnamese women will die from this disease.
