"White Olive Tree" starring Tran Triet Vien has ended. The film only received 5.4 points on Douban - this is a pretty low score for a Chinese drama project.
According to Chinese media, the reason "White Olive Tree" is not highly appreciated is because the closer it gets to the end, the more the film is exhausted in terms of content and acting by the cast.
"White Olive Tree" also received many controversies and negative comments. In particular, most comments about Tran Triet Vien not performing outstandingly and having many scenes cut. The female lead Luong Khiet also lacks charisma.
