Faced with bad weather, the Miss World 2026 organizers mobilized personnel to distribute raincoats to the audience.
After that, the organizers announced the temporary suspension of the program due to weather conditions. At the same time, they said that the program will continue as soon as the weather is favorable, ensuring safety for contestants, audiences and the production crew.
The sudden heavy rain made many spectators look for shelter. However, there were still many spectators in the stands waiting for the performances and the next rounds.
In the rain, some international tourists used free raincoats, taking the opportunity to check-in and record memorable moments at the Miss World 2026 final night in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa).
After about 30 minutes of temporary suspension, when the rain stopped, the organizers gradually stabilized their seats to continue the program.
Miss World 2026 is a version celebrating the 75th anniversary of the competition, and also marks Vietnam's first time hosting this beauty arena. The Miss World 2026 journey began on August 9 in Hanoi and went through many activities in localities before entering the final week in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa).
The final night gathered 111 beauties from countries and territories around the world, in which Vietnamese representative Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc is receiving great attention.
Bao Ngoc was born in 2001 in Can Tho, is 1.85 m tall and was once introduced as "Miss of Knowledge". She is completing a Bachelor of Business Administration program under a joint program between International University - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and University of the West of England.
Before the final, the competition completed many important parts to select contestants to enter the Top 40.
Vietnamese representative Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc won the Top Model Asia - Oceania region, thereby winning a spot in the Top 40. Together with her are representatives of the Dominican Republic, Nigeria and France - who won the Top Model in the Americas - Caribbean, Africa and Europe regions respectively.
This year's final is also a special milestone when Miss World organizes the final night in Vietnam in the 75th anniversary year. According to the Organizing Committee, more than 20,000 spectators are expected to be present directly in Nha Trang to watch the moment of coronation.
