To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force and the 20th Anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Editorial Board of Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee to organize the 2025 "Sao Tu Doan" art and political program with the theme: "For a Prosperous Vietnam".
The program will be held on the evening of August 24, at Hoan Kiem Theater, Hanoi and will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television at 8:10 p.m. on August 24.
Over the years, "Independence Star" has become an annual program (started in 2016), welcomed by many revolutionary veterans, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the August autumn days.
The program was chosen to honor the noble cultural and historical values of the nation; the patriotism and indomitable will of the generation of heroic Vietnamese people who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam; at the same time, emphasizing the great achievements over the past eight decades, especially in nearly 40 years of the country's Doi Moi. Through that, it demonstrates the determination of the entire Party, army and people to bring the country into a new era - the era of national growth, realizing the aspirations of building a socialist Vietnam with rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
The program content revolves around the theme of praising the glorious Party and great Uncle Ho; the heroic revolutionary history, the Doi Moi - integration cause of the country, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, while encouraging and motivating all classes of people to actively study and compete in labor production, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025.
In addition to the traditional time and approach, the program has innovated the content and methods of art performance, helping the public, especially young audiences, to better understand and be more proud of the heroic Vietnamese nation, the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, the great President Ho Chi Minh, the People's Public Security force "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", inspiring young people - the core force, important for the goal of a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the new era.
The 2025 political art program "Sao Doan" is organized into 3 chapters, 15 performances with many art genres: Ca - dance - music - lyrics, combining sound, lighting, Hologam technology images, LED3D... both historical, traditional, folk and creative color combined with the creative color of contemporary art.
The art program promises to bring audiences nationwide heroic and fulfilling moments, with pride, gratitude with both faith and aspiration to strongly rise up to join hands in building the country. That aspiration has been adding to the traditional flame so that today's generations can continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite and protect our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
