On the evening of July 26, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired and coordinated with the People's Committee of Da Nang City to organize a special art program with the theme "Incestual Heroic Poem", commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025) at the Vietnam Monument Square, Quang Phu Ward, Da Nang City.
Also attending was Mr. Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister.
The Immortal Heroic Book is an annual art program chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation, national unity and protection of the Fatherland.
This is one of the practical and meaningful activities, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water" of the nation, at the same time, contributing to strengthening the education of revolutionary traditions and the responsibility of generations, especially the younger generation towards the homeland.
The program was attended by famous singers and artists: People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Pham Thu Ha, Graphic artist Tran Quang Duy, Singer Dang Duong, Viet Dung, Khanh Du, Chi Thien, Tran Minh Quan, Man Nhi, Sun Symphony Orchestra, Youth Union and Children of Da Nang City and students from the Quang Phu Monument Square, Quang Phu Ward, Da Nang City.
The program is like a flame reflecting on the arduous and heroic years of the nation. Emotional images and stories about the martyrs of the past will be shown, partly arousing pride and deep gratitude to the previous generation - those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland - to increase appreciation for the value of today's peace.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that 78 years have passed since July 27, 1945 - a day that has gone down in history as a symbol of gratitude and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "When eating fruit, remember the tree grower", that morality is the red thread throughout the flow of Vietnamese ethnic culture. To have today, millions of outstanding children have fallen to let the Fatherland "flower independently, bear free fruits".
The special art program "Eternal epic" with the theme "The Land of Rings" is a song imbued with humanity, connecting national memories with the present, arousing gratitude and pride in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
"Through the elaborately staged and emotional performances, the main program is an artistic journey through music, images and emotions, recreating the heroic spirit of previous generations, while sending the message: gratitude is the continuous source, the strength to build the future and above all, the message of the art program is a heartfelt message: We do not forget! The people do not forget! ", Mr. Dong emphasized.
