After completion, from this afternoon until 5:00 p.m. on August 21, universities nationwide will announce the admission scores and lists of successful candidates.
Talking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, many higher education institutions in the North said that the standard score has gradually been shaped, waiting for the final virtual filter session to finalize the official score.
However, this year, virtual filter data is more complicated, the number of requests has increased a lot. Statistics show that the number of applications to many schools has increased by 3-4 times compared to last year.

I read the news every day, then go to forums to predict the benchmark scores of schools, but the more I read, the more worried I am. There are days when I worry until 2-3 am but still can't sleep, just thinking about not knowing if I have enough points to be admitted" - Ha confided.
Since knowing the results of the high school graduation exam, Giap Tung Duong - a candidate taking the 2025 high school graduation exam in Thanh Hoa, regularly calculates and compares his score with the benchmark scores of previous years. Although he tried to summarize each difference, the male student could not rest assured.
I felt like I was at a crossroads, just need to increase the admission score a little bit to completely change the plan. That is why I always feel worried, stressed, and always have to prepare for the worst situation. I just hope to know the results soon, so that I can confidently plan the next step for my future" - Duong confided.
Stay calm
Sharing with the contestants, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh - a teacher at Nghe An Province Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities - said that feeling anxious and nervous during the days waiting for the admission score is inevitable for any student. However, they need to keep a relaxed spirit.
"Whether you pass or miss a wish does not determine the entire future. College is just one of many doors and each door opens up different paths. The important thing is to keep them believing, courageous and persistent in pursuing their long-term goals" - Ms. Binh said.
The female teacher said that instead of just waiting for the results, students can spend time reading, participating in sports activities, or improving soft skills... preparing important luggage for the upcoming environment.
In addition, Ms. Binh also advised parents to accompany their children during this period. Parents should not create pressure with too many comparisons or expectations, but should become a spiritual support, regularly converse to share, encourage and orient their children.
