Cortis releases the second episode of the reality show "2026 1st Anniversary School Trip Guide" on its official YouTube channel. The program is made on the occasion of the boy band's first anniversary of operation.
Cortis consists of five members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Keonho. Right from their debut, the members have participated in the process of building music, videos and choreography. This way of working helps the group form its own color, and is also called the "young creative group" by fans.
The commemorative trip is built in the form of extracurricular activities, combining sightseeing and historical exploration. In the first episode, Cortis visits the Baekje cultural area in Buyeo, South Chungcheong province. Here, members visit relics and check their knowledge through historical questions.
In episode two, the group moved to the accommodation area and participated in entertainment activities that often appeared in the field trips of Korean students.
The noteworthy moment took place when five members gathered in a dimly lit auditorium. No longer having exciting games, they spent time talking about emotions, trust and memories formed in the first year of companionship.
When asked to share something they were once grateful for but had not had the opportunity to say, the members thanked each other for overcoming both difficult and happy periods together.
We feel lucky and happy because the people closest to us are also the people we can trust the most. Maybe in life, we will never meet people like this again," Cortis shared.
Members believe that it is commendable that people with the same goals meet and develop together. After a year, the relationship between them is not only in group activities but also built from common experiences, pressures and growth processes.
Cortis also sent thanks to the Coer fan community. The group said that the presence of the audience helps each stage become complete and makes each day of activity more meaningful.
Five members then spent about 40 minutes writing messages to each other in the form of "rolling paper". Handwritten letters were published on the Weverse platform.
We are always grateful and love you. Hopefully we can continue to move forward together with greater energy," a member wrote.
On August 22nd and 23rd, Cortis will hold two shows in the "Put Your Phone Down" tour at the Hwajeong Arena of Korea University in Seoul. The group's first tour includes 14 shows in nine cities and has sold out tickets.
This location is also where Cortis used to organize the debut album introduction program a year ago. Therefore, returning to the old stage is considered a milestone closing the first year of operation and opening the group's next journey.
