The Voice Kids is a music competition for children aged 9 to 15, produced by Vietnam Television in collaboration with Cat Tien Sa under international copyright.
The contest aims to find and nurture singing talents through typical rounds such as Blind Auditions, Battles and Liveshows.
The program premiered its first season on June 1, 2013 and lasted through many seasons, before officially closing in its 8th season in April 2021.
The most typical faces of the program include season champions such as Quang Anh (2013), Thien Nhan (2014), Trinh Nguyen Hong Minh (2015), Kieu Minh Tam (2019) and famous voices after the competition such as 2013 runner-up Phuong My Chi.
Besides, the lives of the 3 music directors of the program are still of public interest.
Musician Phuong Uyen
Phuong Uyen (born in 1970) is one of the musicians and singers who had influence in the late 90s and early 2000s. Phuong Uyen at that time was in high demand, known for her modern musical thinking and production ability for many major entertainment programs.
Before soloing and switching to the role of music director, she was a member of the famous group "Ba Con Meo", one of the prominent girl groups of V-pop in the 1990s.

In her career, Phuong Uyen was the music director of the first season of The Voice Kids Vietnam.
Currently, Phuong Uyen mainly lives and works in the US, focusing on music production projects and collaborating with many domestic and foreign artists.
Regarding her personal life, she is married to singer Thanh Ha and both of them regularly accompany each other in both work and life, and are noticed and supported by many audiences as a close and harmonious artist couple in both music and spirit.
Musician Lưu Thiên Hương
Luu Thien Huong (born in 1980) is one of the most prestigious musicians and music producers. Luu Thien Huong is the older sister of singer Luu Huong Giang.
In the early 2000s, Luu Thien Huong was known for many emotional and unique musical compositions such as "Autumn Love", "The Dress for You", "Paper Fan" and a series of products associated with many young artists.
In her career, Luu Thien Huong has made a special mark when taking on the role of Music Director for many major programs, notably The Voice Kids season 2 (2014), where she replaced Phuong Uyen and brought a new, modern but still emotional musical color to young contestants.

Luu Thien Huong is considered a "lucky" person in discovering and supporting young talents, and has also participated in many roles as a coach and advisor in reality music programs.
Currently, Luu Thien Huong still maintains artistic activities as a producer, lecturer and music consultant for many projects. Although she has been attached to showbiz for many years, she is quite secretive about her private life, rarely sharing about her personal life.
At nearly 50 years old, the female musician still maintains a youthful, dynamic image and is considered one of the dedicated teachers, always concerned about training and developing the young generation of Vietnamese music artists.
Musician Ho Hoai Anh
Ho Hoai Anh (born in 1979) was once one of the musicians and music producers with great influence, associated with many reality TV shows and large-scale music nights.
Ho Hoai Anh takes on the role of Music Director for The Voice of Vietnam and especially The Voice Kids season 3, a place that contributes to shaping the color of music and supporting many young talents.
In his career, Ho Hoai Anh owns a series of outstanding songs such as "Dau co loi lam", "Phu Dong Thien Vuong", along with many highly appreciated music arrangements and productions.
He won many prestigious awards such as the Cong Hien Award (Musician of the Year 2009), Mai Vang 2006 and Lan Song Xanh 2005, affirming the position of a talented musician.

Besides her role in television programs, Ho Hoai Anh also participates and takes on the role of music director for many music nights and major art projects such as The Ballad, live concerts of many famous singers, as well as real-scene performances and personal showcases.
He also participated in advising and producing music for many large domestic stages, playing an important role in building the overall music for the performances.
In the recent period, after the personal incident in 2022, Ho Hoai Anh chose a more discreet lifestyle, mainly focusing on backstage work such as production, arrangement and music directing.
From 2025, Ho Hoai Anh began to reappear with some television activities such as participating in the judging panel of the preliminary round of "Talented Rendezvous" on VTV, while continuing to participate in music projects, big music nights and developing his own media company with colleagues.
