The Vietnam Idol Kids competition officially aired in 2016 and quickly made a mark when the first Champion was found, Ho Van Cuong. A year later, the highest position continued to belong to Thien Khoi.
Although both stepped to the peak of the competition's glory, the journey after the coronation of the two young champions turned in completely different directions, from the artistic path to personal life.
After being crowned Vietnam Idol Kids 2016, Ho Van Cuong was adopted by the late singer Phi Nhung to pursue his singing passion.
After nearly 10 years of artistic activity, Ho Van Cuong has had many positive changes in life. Ho Van Cuong pursues folk and lyrical music, most notably with songs such as "Nguoi oi dung bo que", "Cung dan thuong nho" and albums "Ve mien Tay", "Hieu va thuong".
At the age of 23, the male singer is preparing to graduate with a Marketing major at a university in Ho Chi Minh City and said that he will continue to pursue the path of music, and apply the knowledge he has learned to support his work.
Ho Van Cuong bought his first house, stabilized his life with his family in Ho Chi Minh City, became an economic pillar and supported his children's education. The male singer is also nurturing the idea of holding a liveshow to mark his 10-year singing career.
Ho Van Cuong was the winner of the first season of Vietnam Idol Kids in 2016. This program later had a second season in 2017, the winner of the second season of Vietnam Idol Kids was Nguyen Minh Thien Khoi.
Crowned Vietnam Idol Kids 2017, Nguyen Minh Thien Khoi left an impression on the audience thanks to his chubby appearance, lovely face and signature "Maika" hair.
After the competition, he received a scholarship in Production and Performance from musician Duc Tri, and at the same time pursued an artistic path in a systematic way. Not only possessing a powerful voice, Thien Khoi also has the ability to compose, play the piano, guitar and participate in acting in many music products.
In the years after being crowned, Thien Khoi continuously released MVs such as "Nang vui", "La toi va am nhac", "Tung tang"... and at the same time attracted attention when appearing with a mature image in JustaTee's MV "Da lo yeu em nhieu".
Currently, at the age of 21, Thien Khoi has matured and has many changes in appearance compared to the time he was crowned Vietnam Idol Kids 2017. However, recently, he has been quite secretive and rarely appears in public.
From the end of 2023 to now, Thien Khoi's personal fan page no longer updates images or new music products, making many viewers curious about the life as well as the current career orientation of the male singer.
