Recently, international media simultaneously reported on the passing of Skarlent Rodríguez, the beauty crowned Miss Grand (Miss Peace) Orlando 2025.
It is known that the 23-year-old former Miss Venezuela was found dead next to her boyfriend after the devastating earthquake that occurred in northern Venezuela.
Skarlent Rodríguez was born in 2003. She became known after winning the title of Miss Grand Orlando 2025 (Florida state, USA).
Although only 23 years old, Rodríguez has built a foothold in the beauty pageant community and is considered a promising contestant.
Born in Venezuela, she then moved to the United States to pursue a modeling career and participate in beauty contests. Winning Miss Grand Orlando 2025 has opened up many opportunities for her in the beauty arena, and also helped her win the right to participate in Miss Grand Florida 2025.
Friends, contest organizers and contestants who have accompanied Rodríguez all describe Rodríguez as a person who converges beauty, kindness, determination and positive energy.
Throughout the Miss Grand Florida 2025 competition, she not only received admiration for her performances on stage but also for her warmth, friendliness and positive attitude behind the scenes.
Although she did not win the title of Miss Grand Florida, Rodríguez left a deep impression on many beauty fans.

Upon hearing her death, the Miss Grand Florida organization shared that Rodríguez is a person with "a radiant smile, warm spirit and undisturbed positive energy, touching the hearts of everyone who has met her, both on stage and in real life". The organization also said that she has inspired many people with her qualities, kindness and elegance.
Rodríguez's life closed tragically in the strong earthquake that occurred in northern Venezuela on June 24. At that time, she returned to her hometown with her boyfriend José Castro.
The two are staying in an apartment building in Catia La Mar, La Guaira state - one of the most heavily damaged areas after the earthquake. The building collapsed in a series of strong tremors, trapping both under the rubble.
Families, rescue forces and volunteers searched for many days hoping to find them alive. However, after nearly two days of searching, on June 29, Rodríguez and Castro were found dead under the rubble.
In a touching announcement posted through a joint fundraising campaign, the two families confirmed the sad news: "Both were found alive... They lay next to each other, together until the last moments. No words can describe the pain we are experiencing.
After that, the family launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for funeral expenses and bring their bodies back to their hometown.
Immediately after the news of Rodríguez's death was confirmed, a series of condolences and memorial posts appeared on social networks from beauty organizations, contestants who had competed with her, and fans around the world.
