I have participated in judging for many literary contests before, but the contest of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor really surprised me when the contest attracted a large number of entries, with more than 400 short stories and nearly 100 novels. According to author Nguyen Thi Tuong Linh, the literary writing contest about workers and trade unions has done a very good job in propaganda, helping people know and understand more about the life as well as the role of the working class in the most close and truthful way.
